great men

How would you define immorality?
In the way we act, or the way we try to be?
Primal and naked, just trying to survive,
In this jungle of life, we struggle to stay alive.

Great men hide their desires deep inside,
Strong men show their weakness, no place to hide,
Weak men show strength, though they’re bound to fall,
What must we do to survive it all?
To survive,
To stay alive.

One day a man will make the sacrifice,
Following Gandhi, paying the price,
Or he’ll write his own list, to help others live,
Giving up what’s needed, what life demands to give.
And in that moment, he’ll rise above,
Becoming the great man he’s dreamed of.

Oh, truthfully,
Are we not both right and wrong,
What can we define, when the line’s so thin,
How fragile life is, how short it’s been.

Maybe there’s no next life, no second chance,
Just an empty graveyard where we dance,
Maybe we die, and what’s left behind,
Is prey for the insects, our bodies confined.
Like grass, we grow, lost in the wild,
Maybe that’s the meaning, life running wild.
Maybe,
Just maybe.
