a thought is haunting me

The day was bright, the summer heat,

When our paths crossed by chance, so sweet.
A glance, a smile, a quiet spark,
But in the end, it left its mark.

You wore cool clothes, mismatched shoes,
A look that caught my heart, confused.
Behind the glasses, your eyes shone,
Yet, like a dream, you soon were gone.

We shared a laugh, a fleeting ease,
I felt a pull, a gentle breeze.
But as you left, I stayed behind,
With only whispers in my mind.

The next day came, you searched for me,
But life had parted us, you see.
A message sent, a plan to meet,
But time, cruel time, had sealed defeat.

You left for Canada, the chance slipped by,
And all I could do was wonder why.
That bitter ache still fills my chest,
A love lost, before it could rest.

Now I hold that moment tight,
A dream of us, a bittersweet sight.
A summer day, a chance, a glance,
A love that never had the chance.

God if you're listening to my pain

Shall you make me meet him again

Even if we will end up shatter each other

...
