i'm that white horse racing toward the ocean
A bit of life hits me this rainy afternoon,
I can hear the soft raindrops, steady and in tune.
The birds are chirping somewhere in the air,
Even though my heart still feels a little worn with care.
For a moment, in this quiet space,
With no one around and no need to race,
I feel a small spark inside of me,
A little aliveness, setting me free.
Baby, for a moment,
I'm that white horse racing toward the ocean,
The endless blue of freedom blurring my eyes,
Running without stopping, chasing the skies.
Baby, for a moment,
I let my body sway with the tides,
My curves rest softly on the water's embrace,
Like a faceless goddess, lost in grace.
I've learned to make peace with my pain,
I've faced my darkness, no longer in vain.
Chasing the light left me tired and worn,
While your face still follows, like shadows forlorn.
In time, I know I'll be forgotten,
But now, I no longer care—I'm free, unbroken.
But now, I no longer care—I'm free, unbroken.
But now, I no longer care—I'm free, unbroken.
