Beth Harmon is my number one medicine for life

I could not even count how exactly many times I've binge watched this show. Everything about this show is just beyond perfect. The lighting, the plot, the color and especially the beauty Anya Taylor Joy.
I could not think of anyone other than her to play this role.

The main topic is basically about "the cost of genius". Being a prodigy herself is not only brings her money, fame or friendship, but also the serve mental illness and addiction to those green pills.

There are three main things I can strongly relate to Beth Harmon.

I've been playing Chinese chess since I was a little girl, maybe around 6-7. My dad taught me how to play it. Even though I don't have so much time to practice and become a good player. I do know the rules and a few strategies in order to play chess. To be honest, I became competitive mainly because of that early learning chess playing.

Another thing I admit is I also addict to pills. However, it is not green, it is red. I think I addict to paracetamol and caffein in those pills. I've been consuming it for already 4 years. It has becoming my very first thing to do in the morning.

The last thing I can relate to Beth is her loneliness. She is extremely lonely. I think the reason of her loneliness is not only because of her surroundings but also she kind of isolates herself. Her level of intelligence naturally creates this jealousy of both sexes. She became extremely hard to be friends with someone who is not on her level of intelligence. It very hard for me to bear all of these "empty" words from these men who I think have never been actually read a single book before.

I will continue to watch this show until I got my own success and I will likely to die in the room with TV has this show on.
